Terms and conditions

1.Acceptance of the terms

By downloading, installing or using RedLine (the app, the servers and associated services) you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with them, you may not use RedLine.

2.Account and minimum age

• To use RedLine you need an account. You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you need the written consent of your parent or legal guardian.
• The account information must be real and up to date. One account per person, unless we have allowed otherwise in writing.
• You are solely responsible for the security of your account and for everything that happens through it. Do not give your password to anyone and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• You may not sell, rent or transfer your account.

3.Community rules (prohibited conduct)

RedLine is a space for communities. The following are strictly prohibited, wherever they occur on the platform (messages, voice, names, avatars, servers):

• harassment, intimidation, threats, blackmail and stalking of people;
• hate speech and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or origin;
• content involving the exploitation or sexualization of minors, with zero tolerance and reporting to the authorities;
• extremely violent content, glorification of violence or self-harm, explicit sexual content in public spaces;
• publishing other people's personal data without consent (doxxing) and sharing private content without permission;
• spam, unsolicited advertising, pyramid schemes, scams and phishing;
• distributing malware, exploits or any code that harms users or the service;
• cheating, hacking, attempts to access accounts or systems without authorization;
• impersonating another person or the RedLine team;
• infringing copyright or other rights of third parties;
• any illegal activity under Romanian or European law.

4.Your content

You remain the owner of the content you post. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, free license to store, transmit and display it strictly to provide the service. You are responsible for your content and warrant that you have the right to publish it. We may remove any content that violates these terms, without prior notice.

5.Moderation and sanctions

We reserve the right to apply sanctions for violating the terms, depending on severity and without any obligation to apply them in order:

• warning and removal of content;
• temporary restriction (mute, limited features);
• suspension of the account;
• permanent ban of the account and associated devices, with no right to a refund or to data recovery.

Serious violations (illegal content, exploitation of minors, threats, fraud, attacks on the service) may lead directly to a permanent ban and referral to the authorities. You may appeal a sanction by writing to [email protected]; the final decision is ours.

6.Servers and administrators

Those who create or administer servers are responsible for the rules, content and members of their server, within the limits of these terms. A server that encourages or tolerates violations may be suspended or deleted. Administrators cannot impose rules that contravene the law or these terms.

7.Intellectual property rights

The RedLine app, name, logo, mascot and design belong to RedLine and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, decompile, distribute or create derivative works from the app, beyond the limits allowed by law. You receive a personal, limited, revocable and non-exclusive license to use the app.

8.Security and technical use

You may not attempt to bypass security measures, overload the service, reverse engineer it or extract data in an automated way (scraping, unauthorized bots). We may limit or stop access to protect the service and its users.

9.Availability and limitation of liability

RedLine is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of data, service interruptions or for the content and behavior of other users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10.Termination

You may stop using RedLine at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close your access immediately if you breach these terms or if the law requires us to. Provisions that by their nature must remain in force (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) continue to apply after termination.

11.Changes

We may update these terms. We will show the date of the last update and, for important changes, we will notify you in the app or on the site. If you keep using RedLine after changes, you accept them.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable European Union legislation. Disputes are resolved amicably and, failing that, by the competent courts in Romania, without affecting your consumer rights.
